When filing a claim, you are responsible for making sure that the claim is filed in the right case, that the correct document is attached, that the claim form is complete and is signed, and that the creditor's name and address on the CM/ECF mailing list for the case matches the creditor's name and address on the claim form. Notices in the case are sent using names and addresses on the CM/ECF mailing list.
The debtor's personal identifiers, such as social security number, should be redacted prior to attaching documentation to your claim. A copy of the § 341 meeting of creditors notice should not be attached.
IMPORTANT NOTICE OF REDACTION RESPONSIBILITY: All filers must
redact: Social Security or taxpayer-identification numbers; dates of
birth; names of minor children; and financial account numbers, in
compliance with Fed. R. Bankr. P. 9037. This requirement applies to
all documents, including attachments.
